The UAE–Croatia Business Club proudly participated in the fourth edition of Investopia Europe, held on 18 May 2026 at the historic Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan, home of the Italian Stock Exchange, where the Club was officially represented by Advisory Board Member Stefano Ferrara.
Organised as part of the global Investopia Europe 2026 platform, the event once again confirmed its growing role as one of the most important economic dialogue platforms connecting the Gulf region and Europe. This year’s edition gathered more than 800 participants, over 50 speakers, senior government officials, investors, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives from across Europe and the UAE.
A high-level UAE delegation was led by H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, accompanied by leading representatives of the UAE’s public and private sectors. On the Italian side, the event featured participation from key institutional figures including Ignazio La Russa, Antonio Tajani, Giancarlo Giorgetti and Adolfo Urso.
The agenda focused on the future of investment and economic cooperation between the UAE, Italy and wider Europe, with strategic emphasis placed on artificial intelligence, data centres, advanced manufacturing, energy transition, tourism, logistics, defence industries and the space economy. Discussions throughout the event highlighted the growing importance of resilient international partnerships and trusted investment ecosystems in an increasingly dynamic geopolitical environment.
One of the strongest messages emerging from the conference was the scale and ambition of UAE–Italy economic relations. Bilateral trade between the two countries reached approximately €55 billion in 2024, while a broader UAE investment ambition of around €40 billion into Italy was highlighted as part of the evolving strategic partnership between the two nations.
Representing the UAE–Croatia Business Club, Stefano Ferrara held a series of meetings and exchanges with entrepreneurs, investors and institutional stakeholders from the Italian and international business communities, further strengthening the Club’s visibility within relevant European and Gulf economic networks.
His participation reflects the UAE–Croatia Business Club’s ongoing commitment to positioning Croatia within broader international investment discussions and strengthening ties with institutions, investors and business leaders active across the UAE, Italy and wider European markets.
The Club continues to actively support initiatives that encourage international collaboration, knowledge exchange and long-term economic partnerships between Croatia, the UAE and global markets.
