The UAE–Croatia Business Club has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HAMAG-BICRO (Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments), establishing a strategic framework for cooperation aimed at supporting Croatian companies in their internationalization process and attracting foreign investment to Croatia.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Neven Roginić, President of the UAE–Croatia Business Club, and Mr. Vjeran Vrbanec, President of the Management Board of HAMAG-BICRO. The signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Ante-Janko Bobetko, Deputy President of the Management Board of HAMAG-BICRO, and Mr. Hrvoje Bujanović, Vice President of the UAE–Croatia Business Club.
- Internationalization of Croatian companies - providing access to business opportunities in the United Arab Emirates through delegations, B2B meetings, business forums, and workshops.
- Investment cooperation - identifying and promoting Croatian projects to foreign investors, while supporting their structuring and documentation.
- Innovation and startup ecosystem - fostering knowledge exchange and connecting Croatian startups with accelerators and investment networks in the UAE.
- Institutional and promotional cooperation - joint promotion of activities and participation in strategic initiatives enhancing Croatian–Emirati economic relations.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Neven Roginić, President of the UAE-Croatia Business Club, emphasized:
