The President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Luka Burilović, and the President of the UAE – Croatia Business Club, Neven Roginić, have signed a Cooperation Agreement in Zagreb, which establishes a framework for a stronger partnership in those markets.
Among other things, the organization of business delegations and meetings for entrepreneurs is planned, along with the exchange of information and the promotion of investment opportunities.
Regarding the previous economic cooperation between Croatia and the UAE, the total bilateral trade between the two countries amounted to more than 128.6 million US dollars. According to data from the Croatian National Bank, direct investments from the UAE from 1993 to April 1st of this year reached 243.4 million euros, placing the UAE 25th among the most significant countries for foreign direct investment in the Republic of Croatia.
