Today, the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Dubai, led by Consul General Jasmin Devlić, warmly welcomed a large delegation of Croatian entrepreneurs during an official reception organized in close cooperation with the UAE-Croatia Business Club.
The event gathered more than 40 Croatian business leaders, many of whom traveled exclusively to Dubai to participate in the EurAsian Balkan Forum. For many of these entrepreneurs, this reception represented a cornerstone moment – the beginning of their business expansion into Dubai and the wider UAE, and the start of their development on this dynamic and highly competitive market.
The reception was co-hosted by Consul General Jasmin Devlić, together with the leadership of the UAE-Croatia Business Club: Neven Roginić, President of the Club, Hrvoje Bujanović, Vice President, and Ida Pandur, Vice Chair of the soon-to-be-established Croatian Business Council at Dubai Chambers.
In his address, Consul General Jasmin Devlić expressed his wholehearted support to Croatian entrepreneurs and emphasized the importance of economic diplomacy in strengthening Croatia’s presence in the UAE. By opening the doors of collaboration, he underlined that the Consulate will remain a reliable partner to all Croatian companies pursuing opportunities in this region.
Neven Roginić, President of the UAE-Croatia Business Club, highlighted the many concrete steps the Club has already undertaken in close cooperation with Croatian and Emirati institutions. From structured partnerships with strategic investors and trade organizations to facilitating direct links with free zones and business authorities, the Club continues to provide a strong platform for Croatian businesses to grow internationally. Roginić also encouraged the delegation, wishing them much success in their further endeavors and reaffirming that the Club will remain at their side as they take the next steps in building their businesses in Dubai and beyond.
The reception at the Consulate not only celebrated the strong bonds between Croatia and the UAE, but also set the tone for what promises to be a new era of Croatian entrepreneurial presence in the Emirates.
