Neven Roginić awarded the Business Diplomacy Award at the EurAsia Gulf 2025 Gala Dinner

The UAE–Croatia Business Club is proud to announce that its President, Neven Roginić, received the Business Diplomacy Award at the EurAsia Gulf 2025 Awards for Outstanding Achievements Gala Dinner, held on 11 December at the Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City in Dubai.

The prestigious event gathered leading representatives of the business community, investors, diplomats and government officials from across the Gulf, Europe and Asia. With exceptional organization, an elegant atmosphere and a distinguished awards ceremony, the evening highlighted individuals and organisations whose work significantly contributes to regional economic development and international cooperation.

Recognition for strengthening UAE–Croatia economic relations

The Business Diplomacy Award was presented to Neven Roginić in recognition of his continuous efforts to strengthen economic, scientific and investment cooperation between Croatia and the United Arab Emirates. Under his leadership, the UAE–Croatia Business Club has become a dynamic platform that actively connects companies, institutions and key decision-makers from both countries.

Over the past year, the Club has grown to 90 member companies, including some of the most reputable Croatian and Emirati organizations. Through delegations, bilateral meetings, partnerships with government institutions and targeted support to businesses entering the UAE market, the Club has significantly expanded its impact and visibility.

In addition to supporting Croatian companies in the Gulf, the Club increasingly promotes investment opportunities in Croatia, strengthening Croatia’s position as an attractive partner for Emirati investors.

Institutional support and expanding cooperation

The success of the UAE–Croatia Business Club is strongly supported by Croatian ministries, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, numerous business councils, trade organisations, and the Delegation of the European Union to the UAE.

These partnerships have enabled the Club to operate at the highest diplomatic and professional level, shaping joint initiatives in sectors such as technology, real estate, science, energy, tourism and innovation.

Looking ahead: strengthening Croatia’s presence in the UAE

The Club is currently preparing several major initiatives for 2026 aimed at further expanding Croatia’s presence in the UAE and deepening cooperation between the two countries. Through targeted programs, strategic events and continued economic diplomacy, the UAE–Croatia Business Club remains committed to its mission of building sustainable bilateral partnerships.

Gratitude

We extend sincere thanks to EurAsia Gulf for the nomination and recognition, which further motivates our continued work and future initiatives.
