UAE-Croatia Business Club Meets with Croatian General Consul in UAE
The UAE-Croatia Business Club is making significant strides in fostering stronger economic and business ties between Croatia and the United Arab Emirates. On February 16, 2025, our Chairman, Mr. Neven Roginić, held a productive meeting with Mr. Jasmin Devlić, the Croatian General Consul in the UAE, who expressed strong support for the initiative and the Club’s mission.
During the discussion, Mr. Devlić welcomed the establishment of the UAE-Croatia Business Club, recognizing its role in facilitating trade, investment, and collaboration between Croatian and Emirati businesses. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of structured support for Croatian companies entering the UAE market, as well as the growing interest from UAE investors looking towards Croatia.
“The warm reception and strong institutional backing from the Croatian Consulate in the UAE further strengthen our belief that we are on the right path. Our goal is to create real business opportunities and a structured framework for companies from both countries to collaborate successfully,” said Mr. Roginić following the meeting.
The discussion also touched on the increasing interest from Croatian businesses in expanding into the UAE, with over 100 companies currently in talks with the UAE-Croatia Business Club. At the same time, Croatian institutions are ready to provide support for Emirati investors exploring opportunities in tourism, real estate, energy, and other key sectors.
This meeting is a crucial step towards deepening bilateral cooperation, and it comes ahead of the upcoming meeting with H.E. Mr. Ahmed Alatar later this month, which will further formalize the Club’s role in enhancing economic ties between Croatia and the UAE.
