The UAE-Croatia Business Club continues to strengthen its role as a bridge between Croatia and the United Arab Emirates. At the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, the Club’s leadership met with Dr. Jean Fares, CEO of Investopia and Senior Advisor to the UAE Minister of Economy, to discuss new avenues of cooperation and shared opportunities for growth.
During the talks, Neven Roginić, President of the UAE-Croatia Business Club, emphasized the Club’s commitment to creating long-term partnerships that connect entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions from both countries. He was joined by Hrvoje Bujanović, Vice President of the Business Club, and Ida Pandur, Vice Chair of the soon-to-be-established Croatian Business Council in Dubai, both of whom highlighted the importance of innovation, technology, and sustainable investments as key drivers of future collaboration.
Dr. Fares welcomed the initiative, noting the synergies between Investopia’s global mission and the vision of the UAE-Croatia Business Club. The discussion focused on unlocking opportunities in investment, innovation, and sustainable development, while also exploring how both sides can leverage their networks to foster stronger bilateral ties.
As part of this dialogue, the participants agreed to move forward with preparations for a major joint event later this year, which will bring together senior government officials, business leaders, and investors from both Croatia and the UAE. This event is expected to mark an important milestone in advancing bilateral economic relations.
By engaging in high-level discussions such as this, the UAE-Croatia Business Club reaffirms its mission of promoting strategic dialogue, facilitating investment, and opening new opportunities for Croatian companies in the UAE, while also offering Emirati partners access to Croatia’s talent, innovation, and European market position.
